    Delicious!

Mountain House meals are incredibly convenient when it comes to having meals in the backcountry. They are super easy to make and they are ready in no time! I wasn't sure how I was going to like this one Mountain House meal but surprisingly, it was super delicious! I'd recommend making sure you add exact amount of water it calls for or a little less.

      Love it!

      • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This breakfast is great if you don't feel like boiling water, or don't have time to. Just add water from your water bottle and you are set! Great for sunrise hikes and enjoying a good breakfast at the top!

      Easy and tasty

      • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I've ordered this meal several times because I love not having to pull out my stove and boil water. I usually just dump some cold water in, shake it up for a minute or so, and then eat it out of the bag. Tastes great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack.

      Pretty Delish

      • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm a die-hard oatmeal fan which is what I often take on my camping adventures. After a long weekend of backpacking through the desert, it was nice to have this granola to break-up the normal routine.

It's light to carry and you only need a little water. There are two servings, but splitting this between two hungry people is pushing it. I was good with half but my boyfriend could have eaten more.

This meal is also high in calories, sugar, and fat which isn't ideal. But if you are out on the trail for awhile, it's an awesome go-to breakfast!

      My favorite backpacking breakfast

      • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Tired of instant oatmeal every day? Well look no further, the fine people at Mountain House have brought us a new, easy, and delicious breakfast alternative! Just add cool water to the pouch, and you'll be eating rehydrated granola, blueberries and milk in no time! My girlfriend and I won't go backpacking without it.

      The best Mountain House breakfast

      • Familiarity:I've used it several times

What's better than a hot meal while backpacking? A GOOD hot meal while backpacking-- first thing in the morning! I have been unimpressed (and frankly, grossed out) by the dehydrated meals with eggs (the breakfast skillet meal, the eggs and bacon, etc). But this is a really good, delicious breakfast that you can do hot or cold on the trail. For me, the serving size is perfect-- just enough to get you going and keep you energized for packing up and hiking out of camp. Definitely has become a staple of my backpacking adventures!

      My favorite breakfast

      • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I'm the kind of guy who would rather sleep than prepare breakfast. I think this is my perfect breakfast. For summer camping I use cold water, which eliminates the boiling water process. I just add the water and start chowing down. The food goes down easy and lasts long. It's a great start to a long day on the trail.

      Delicious simple breakfast

      • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I love this granola with milk. flavorful and filling. I make sure to bring a bag every time I go out camping. Other granola with milk flavors are not very flavorful and other brands granola is flaky and pathetic. I highly recommend this one.

      Hot or Cold!

I really enjoyed this granola, the blueberries are super yummy and really make this meal. I prefer the package hot but it was good cold too. This is a breakfast that is perfect for 1 person, filled me up and gave me some energy to start my day in the mountains! It's easy to make and is packaged nicely.

        First dehydrated meal...Wow

This was my first ever dehydrated meal years ago and I was not really looking forward to it. So with a bit of resignation I tried this mountain house meal and I was really blown away. Actually i started buying the same stuff at the super market because this was so good. It's very, very good and awesome if it's cold out and you're stuck in a tent because of weather.
