Not bad, not bad at all

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Okay, if you are famished after a long days hike, you will feel like you are at a nice little sit-down Italian restaurant.
I personally thought it could use a wee bit of seasoning and salt, but other than that, I thought it tasted delicious. And yes, the package does say low sodium = me wanting more salt.

Light and Tasty

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

In general the Mountain House meals are awesome meals when on on backpacks or when you really need to travel light. I enjoy the chicken alfredo and find it is a rather hearty meal after a long day on the trail. Other flavors I really enjoy are the beef stroganoff and the chicken fajita wrap.

Pretty good.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I like this one, although beef stroganoff is still my favorite. THe noodles seem to take a bit longer to cook and get soft. I used a little bit more water than the two cups it called for and it seemed to help. Sauce is tasty.

not bad.

still think beef strog is the best one. the noodles are like that of the lasagna one, but thought it needed a little salt.

Delicious!

Super tasty meal. I would say it even beats out the popular Mountain House "chili mac"
