This was my sole hiking t-shirt on the Appalachian Trail from Damascus, VA to Katahdin (~1700 mi). It's very light and durable and besides a small hole on the back from a campfire ember, it's still in good condition. I thru-hiked last year, and it continues to be my go-to shirt for weekend warrior'ing. Whenever I got caught in a rain storm, I would take it off and wring it out once the storm departed, and it was good to go. Very highly recommended. My only beef is that BC doesn't offer it in yellow as pictured below.

I have several wicking shirts, but Mountain Hardwears shirt is my favorite. This shirt is light, durable, and does not smell bad. What surprises me the most is how durable it is. My other wicking shirts are light and snag easily, but with this shirt you can feel the durability. These are now my go too hiking shirts.

This shirt is one of my favorites for warm (hot) weather activities. I'm a tenth-of-an-ounce counter and my size large shirt comes in at an impressive 4.50 oz (damn, that shirt is wicked light!). It really does wick moisture and it really doesn't stink. My former favorite poly t-shirt was Mountain Hardwear's Passage Tech t-shirt (sadly, that excellent shirt is no longer in production).

Pic below shows me in my Deep Lagoon (blue) Wicked Lite, with friends and beers, on a 95 deg F summer afternoon in Madison, Wisconsin.

I just picked this shirt up to use this summer. I was looking for something that was lightweight and synthetic (best for wicking) for a good price and this was it. I wouldn't say it is wicked light, but at 4.9 oz for my size XL, it is pretty light.
