Here's what others have to say...

Incredible warmth to weight ratio

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 6'2"
    Weight: 185 lbs
    Size Purchased: medium

The obvious plus about this is the warmth to weight ratio. Added bonus is it feels great against the skin and since this is a base layer that's prime for me. Add on the fact that it compresses into a very small space (inside a coffee mug) it's the perfect selection. Color combos are nice enough to wear it into town without looking like a dork. I used this for a 3 day trip in the desolation wilderness and it kept me comfortable in the sub 40 nights and 80+ days between 6000 and 10,000 feet. Nice that it has some SPF protection too.

small neck

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs small
  • Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 135 lbs
    Size Purchased: S

The neck on this shirt would not fit over my husband's head. I guess his head is a little on the large side, but I'd never noticed it before. Certainly never had this problem with other clothes. Maybe we just got a defective shirt?

You gave 2 stars because you ordered a shirt online and it did not fit? Did you try a medium?

Nice shirt

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 6'1"
    Weight: 205 lbs
    Size Purchased: Xl

Wore it several day climbing Mt. Rainier. Was 98 in the valley. Shirt kept sun off dried out quickly and felt light wearing.

Best Warm Weather Hiking Shirt

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 6'3"
    Weight: 160 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

I have put these shirts through everything! Loved them hiking the Brooks Range in 60-80 degree weather. They pull moisture away very well and dry quickly. The orange and light gray seem to not attract mosquitos as quickly as the black. Was very nice to run it through the river, clean it, wring them out, and have them be dry within an half hour.

wicked dry

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'9"
    Weight: 175 lbs
    Size Purchased: medium

This top is a moisture moving machine. I use it in the sixty to seventy degree range for mountain biking. When I am done, the only area holding moisture is where my pack hits my back. Unlike other tops that are this light, it has not pulled or pilled.
