The Mountain Hardware Waypoint 2 tent footprint protects your Waypoint 2 tent's floor [MHW0046] from damage caused by rough or wet ground surfaces. The footprint, made of durable coated nylon, is cut exactly one inch smaller than the surface of your tent's floor, preventing water from collecting between the floor and the footprint—prolonging the life of your tent. The footprint's grommet holes attach easily to the tent's existing poles.

Granted I have only used the footprint to set up the tent in my yard, it seems to be of high quality material, is an excellent fit, and the stitching seems very strong.
