Voyager Short - Men's

You probably wouldn't be stoked if someone was always sweating on you and mashing you against rocks and branches. The Mountain Hardwear Men's Voyager Shorts, however, really don't mind that kind of treatment. In fact, Mountain Hardwear gave these shorts a mix of cotton and nylon fabric so the Voyagers feel soft and remain durable throughout hikes and trips downtown. The UPF 50-rated fabric blocks harmful rays, and an inseam gusset gives a little extra room.

Bottom Line: Trail- and town-worthy.

Comfortable and durable, but a little too tight

I got these pants as a gift a year or so ago and I've gotten a ton of usage out of them. They are really soft on the skin and they stood up bravely to some SERIOUS abuse. That being said, when sitting down they can feel a little too small. I'm 6'0, 140 lbs (I have the 28), so needless to say, I'm a pretty scrawny dude. Maybe if you have really muscly thighs or just big legs in general these might not be the best choice for you.

Ditto on sizing.

These shorts are great despite the odd fit. I also wear a 32 waist and I was able to get them buttoned, but they too fit tight in the seat. I upsized it to a 34 and they fit my hindend just fine.

Oh, the "utility pocket" on the opposite leg pictured perfect for a cell phone, camera or small GPS unit which is pretty swell!

Sizing

I just purchased these shorts and I was very excited to receive them so quickly. The khaki color is darker than the picture shows and the sizing is very small. I wear a 32 inch waist in jeans and dress pants and I had a very hard time buttoning these shorts. When I did get them buttoned they were very tight and hard to move in. I am going to return these and get a size bigger and I would suggest buying a size bigger than what you normally wear. Other than that they are a great pair of shorts for the money and I would recommend them.

These are nice short, just a bit too tight everywhere. I would recommend getting a size larger
