Thanks to Mountain Hardwear's one-of-a-kind ThermicMicro synthetic insulation, the UltraLamina 45 Sleeping Bag compresses to a tiny 6 x 8 inches. At a weight of only 24oz in the medium size, this Mountain Hardwear sleeping bag makes the cut for any trip into the mountains. The UltraLamina 45 uses welded construction to shave ounces and decrease pack size as well as eliminate cold spots. As a finishing touch, this sleeping bag includes an internal zippered pocket to hold your watch, so you don't sleep through your alarm in the morning.

Great sleeping bag

Excellent lightweight warm weather sleeping bag. It's surprisingly compressible and super soft.

Recomended

I was very impressed with this bag. It compesses down to nothing, and weighs nothing. The storage bag is even sturdier than the one on my TNF Cat's Meow bag. At 5'8" the zippers go down exactly to my waist, which is nice. Havn't taken it out yet, but it seems very well built to withstand how I treat my gear

Great Warm Weather Bag

This is a great warm weather bag. I've had this bag for a year now and really enjoy taking it into the backcountry. I've had this bag down as low as 40 degrees on a 3/4 length pad and I've still been comfortable. The two short zippers allow for pretty good venting, although I do wish that Mountain Hardwear would add a foot box zipper to allow for a little bit more. However, the very low weight and packed size are absolutely worth it.

zipper issues

The bag is a good weight for moderate to high elevation summer camping, but it was a problem for me that the zippers only go to the waist and there is no foot ventilation. I had trouble with temperature regulation early in the night when it was still pretty warm. I much prefer the full length zipper on one side.
