The Mountain Hardwear Trail Gaiter is an above-ankle gaiter perfect for early spring and late fall runs and hikes. The Trail Gaiter attaches easily to running shoes and hiking boots with a front hook-and-loop closure, interior elastic support, and a stay-put lace hook.
Bottom Line: Keep your feet dry and extend your trail time.

Theses gaiters are good, but the thin elastic band on the bottom wore out after one trail run. There not worth the price.
They're not insulated at all, just for keeping crap out of your boots.

I have had these for a year now, used primarily for trail running in snow or really muddy conditions. I also use them for snowshoeing. I have had to re-sew the velcro on both & replace the elastic cord. They do keep the water, snow, muck & debris out of your shoes but I doubt they will make it through a second winter.

I also use them for trail running, and they rubbed my shins. I had to sew baffles of fleece along the edges so they were comfortable.
