circus tent

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large

What ever happened to the semi-athletic MH cut I always knew and loved? This one must be from their short arm/long torso circus tent line. I'm 6'2 170.... MH has always fit me great in a L. The arms of this one were just barely long enough for me - just barely - but I felt like I could have fit two of me inside the body. Total circus tent and a really awkwardly long torso.

Good insulator for wet conditions

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

I have a beefier 800-fill down Mountain Hardwear jacket for the coldest dry conditions, but this jacket is much better when I need good warmth in poor/wet conditions that are frequent in the Pacific Northwest. This is an excellent packable jacket (stows in its own pocket) and, in my experience, works for a variety of body types.
