It has a 2-inch stand-up collar that layers well and a 7-inch front zip you can pull down when the day heats up. ThermaDry fabric wicks moisture while you're skinning a backcountry ridge and moves it to the fabric's surface to evaporate during the descent.
Bottom Line: The perfect top for winter camping or any aerobic sports in frigid temps.

I love this shirt! I travel a lot and no matter where I am going this baby comes with me. It is great for just kicking it around town as it breathes like a champ...also wicks away moisture during climbing and hiking excursions. I own them in 3 different colors..need I say more?

I needed a base layer for winter bike riding, and this Thermadry Zip-Tee fit the bill. It's silky-smooth to the touch, has a generous cut for maximum comfort, and has the wicking capabilities that you would want. The zipper allows for custom ventilation while exerting, keeping you warm as toast or cooled down -- whichever combination you desire! It seems to be made of a rather heavy duty material, so I expect to get years of service. No complaints about this product, whatsoever!

I wore this shirt skiing a couple of weeks ago and it served as a perfect base layer (it was all I wore under my jacket). The smart placement of the seams kept me from chaffing. It was hovering over 0 degrees for much of the skiing and I still felt like this provided enough warmth..and it's extremely comfortable. Only problem was that I had read it was good for keeping odors out...and I don't think it provided that protection (could have just been me though, I was workin it out there :) )
