Awesome shorts

Similar to the review below, MHW runs a bit snug, so buy up if you're on the fence. Having said that, the material is stretchy but tough, dries incredibly fast, and has good pocket space. I wore them for a two-day trip in the always humid Hudson Valley region of lower NY and they stayed dry and comfortable all weekend. Added bonus: my wife actually lets me were these out with a t-shirt on the weekends b/c they look so cool. Well worth the $75.

Great shorts!

I've taken the Talus to summer parties and gotten comments on the good looks of it. In addition to being good looking shorts, they are comfortable and light. The stretchy fabric gives added comfort when in action on the hiking trail. I have even taken these shorts mountain biking (wore them over a liner with padding) and they performed well.
The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, was because I would have liked some back pockets, it only has 4 pockets but all 4 are in the front, other than that, the Talus are awesome shorts. I like the fact that all pockets have a zipper to keep things in.

These bad boys can be stashed in their own cargo pocket. Its a tight fit mind you, but if self-storing is the name of your game, well worth it.

Excellent

These shorts are probably my favorite pair I own. The material is flexible, durable and very lightweight. I'm between a 34 and 36" waist and chose the large. Mountain Hardware typically runs a little small, so typically pick the larger size when in doubt.

My Favorite shorts.

Bought these last summer in the Teton's. At first I thought I made a mistake because of the cost, but they have become my favorite shorts. I wear them almost every day either to the gym or out side for a run. The pockets all zip shut not like allot of other shorts that have cheep velcrow that goes bad and doesn't work after many uses. Very stretchy and not restrictive, sweet for a long legged guy. I love them. Probably will get a pair in Khaki as well. There sweet!
