Stay warm and stay powerful.
While most arm warmers are capable of keeping you warm for a short time, many drop the ball in terms of the 'long haul.' The reason for this is simple -- moisture management. That's right, the more that your body heats up, the more that you sweat. And if your perspiration isn't quickly removed and evaporated, the wet shivers are soon to follow. Thankfully, Mountain Hardware eliminated this vicious cycle with its new Super Power Arm Warmers.
For the warmers' construction, Mountain Hardware used its Super Power Brushed jersey material. Essentially, this fabric is similar to the multiple iterations of Roubaix. It features a 90/10 blend of polyester and elastane, with the polyester being incorporated for warmth and moisture management, and the elastane being used for stretch. Additionally, the interior of the material has been brushed, which creates a warming loft against the skin. This pile creates microscopic pockets of insulation, while its contact with the skin effectively wicks away moisture. As a result, you remain dry and warm over hard exertions.
As for the fit, Mountain Hardware designed the warmers to feel like a second skin. And to ensure this, the warmers feature flatlock stitching throughout. This means that the warmers will lay flat and even over the skin, while also eliminating seam-induced chafing.
Knowing that you'll almost certainly be wearing these warmers in low-light conditions, Mountain Hardware included high-visibility reflective accents in order to increase your visibility to motorists.
The Mountain Hardware Super Power Arm Warmers are available in the color Black and in the sizes Small, Medium, and Large.
