I want to fold this pack and put it in my big pack.
Can you fold this pack small enough to fit in a big pack comfortably?
Will removing the back sheet make this easier?

Thanks
Elad

I don't know if "fold" is quite how I would describe it because of the molded back panel being fairly rigid, but yes, you can remove the framesheet and get it down smaller. It will still take up some room, and maybe flattening it out and sliding it in next to your bigger pack's framesheet is the better way to go. A lot of people also lash their daypacks on to the outside of their packs, either flat on the front or rolled up and tucked under their load compression straps. Another thought for a compact and easily stowable scrambling/daypack is something I've been really happy with, the Marmot Kompressor Plus (item# MAR 2751). It has a removable foam backsheet that's paper thin, and the rest of the pack squishes down to a wad and stuffs in just about anywhere you have a little extra space. And, it's surprisingly comfortable for being as minimal as it is. Hope this helps.

Hey wrg3017335,

I checked on the particulars of the Mountain Hardwear Scrambler ULT 30 Backpack and it is not equipped for a hydration bladder and hose system. The side mesh pockets are meant for any sort of water bottle that is carried.
