- The back panel features ventilated foam padding and the HardWave framesheet for cushioning support—both can be removed to shave off 4 ounces (120g) for lightweight climbing and approaches
- The Scrambler folds inside its fixed top lid pocket for easy storage after you remove the framesheet and back panel
- Ice axe loops secure your tools safely on your hike to the ice
- Four compression straps along the sides shrink the pack volume when you’re carrying a smaller load
