Good design and fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Although not usually interested in buying polyester because it's made from petroleum, this was almost half reclaimed wool which appealed to my "less waste, more creativity" values. In addition, I
wanted a top that was warm, would fit under a jacket, and which wasn't too precious to bang around in. Normally I wear a Small,
which fits fine in the shoulders and chest, but is too big in the hips and waist. This XSmall fits perfectly in the waist and hips,
is easy to get into and wear, has a comfortable neck, great zipper
and looks good. It's a bit tight under the arms, but I can sew and
tailor, so may put gussets in the armpits. Overall, it was definitely worth the sale price.

Classy Indoors and Outside

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I got this sweater in the cream color a year ago, and it's been my go-to sweater that whole time. It''s been technical enough to wear on big trips as a good wicking layer, but it can stand its own when you enter those national parks and want to look a little less like a dirtbag for the mandatory photos! It's not the longest sweater in length, but its just barely long enough to still be in "the perfect length" zone. The zipper is also lined with a fuzzy, soft synthetic material, so your chin isnt rubbed raw when the zipper is all the way up. If your looking for a less heavy, classy, technical sweater, this is it. Ive even washed it quite a few times, and its held up well. I do agree with the others that it more towards scratchy than soft, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Love the look and style

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I love how this fits, it's snug. I'm 5'5'', and 145 lbs, large chested but no problem with the zipping. I wish it were a bit less scratchy, but I still wear it all the time. Chin area is fine though, I've worn it running zipped completely up.
