    Welcome winter's return.

When everyone's whining about shorter days, plummeting temperatures, and snow in the forecast, you're gleefully grinning from ear to ear with the warmth and waterproof protection of the Mountain Hardwear Women's Returnia Jacket. Ideal for skiing at your local resort and wearing around town in nasty weather, the Returnia features a Dry Q Core membrane (2-layer) for waterproof/breathable performance. Fully sealed seams prevent outside moisture from leaking through, even in the wettest, nastiest conditions. Add in the heat-trapping warmth of 80g Thermal Q synthetic insulation for a well-equipped jacket that laughs in the face of freezing cold temperatures.

    Could be better

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I just got a chance to try on this jacket and I liked it ok but it wasn't what I had in mind for a ski jacket.
Pros: *Fit is true to size and as expected with Mountain Hardwear it has room for a layer and gives enough room in the shoulders to not restrict movement
*wrist warmer cuffs made from super soft butter fabric
    *lots of stash pockets
    *key holder
    *good looks
Cons: *back is insulated with monkey fleece which I could see get kind of sweaty
    *NO PIT ZIPS

I would say this is a great jacket if you aren't looking for a super technical ski jacket and/or if you have no use for pit zips coz you get chilly or ski mostly in colder temps. The jacket looks good, the fit is comfortable and it has ample stash for all the essentials that you may need to store during a ski day.

    Decent

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium

Picked up this jacket for a friend. It's a decent jacket for skiing. Nice 2 layer waterproof membrane and a good amount of synthetic insulation (80) grams. So far, she hasn't gotten wet, or too cold on the mountain! The fit was a little strange. Fairly tight in the hips, yet baggier in the chest. It was almost to the point where she considered sizing down, but that wasn't an option because if she went smaller the jacket wouldn't have been able to fit over her hips. Seems like a decent option for winter skiing, and casual use for someone who is petite. I don't think I would trust the jacket in the spring time, or out touring, without a way to vent air in and out of the jacket.

    Good basic skiing jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

This jacket doesn't have a ton of technical features, the biggest being no underarm zippers. However, it is perfect for the skier that doesn't need hi-tech gear. I love this jacket for skiing since it allows for a ton of mobility and it keeps me surprisingly warm for how light it feels.

    Disappointed in structure/features

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Purchased this along with a Patagonia jacket and Orage. The other two had way more features. This one did not have the zippers in the armpit for venting. Overall just felt like very basic jacket for the money. Chose the Patagonia to keep.
