Nice quality pants but the fit wasn't even close. I ordered a medium R based on the size chart but that was way off in the waist and length. I then got a small R but again the waist was way too big and the legs were too baggy. Alas, I'm giving up and returning them for a credit.

Hot Rod color is not red as it appears in pictures. It's actually a hideous orange, think prisoner orange. I typed in women's red ski pants in the search and this is what I got. Now I have to pay $7 to return something that I was misled on. Thanks...

I got these for my girlfriend, and I was very surprised to find that they do not have the thigh vents advertised here (and on the mtn hardwear website). I would never buy a pair of ski pants without vents for myself. Luckily, however, they seem to work fine for my girlfriend on all but the warmest days. Should definitely amend your description, though.

The ski pants are pretty good, I'd prefer if they had some extra pockets, but they do the job. I bought a pair in white and was satisfied with their performance. A word of warning with regards to washing and drying: I washed mine in cold water as suggested and dried in dryer at a low temperature. The dryer did not dry the pants completely, so they were still moist when I took them out. I laid them flat on the bed to dry. The next day, the black material at the bottom had leaked color and had stained the white! So, I had to re-wash them again, using stain remover (not bleach) and dried them for over 1 hour in the dryer to make sure they are completely dry. Also, when I had the pants dry in the apartment, there was yellow discoloration around the waist and zipper. So, make sure you completely dry the garment in the dryer, otherwise the black will stain it. I was quite disappointed with this and this is the reason I am not giving this item 5 stars.

Ok, I need to give yet another update on cleaning these pants, which is turning out to be a royal pain! I have finally figured out how you can avoid having major yellow and black stains on the white pants. You need to first wash them in cold water, then you need to manually squeeze out the water from the pants, as it collects in some parts and then leaves ugly stains! Only after you have meticulously squeezed out all the water, put the pants in the dryer and dry them on medium heat for about 1 hour. Make sure they are fully dry before removing. For some reason, the material inside stains the white outside when it dries and I've never had such a hassle cleaning a garment! The pants are nice, but cleaning them is a huge minus!

Nice pant, great quality.
The large short fits like a very wide leg pant though.
There are ABSOLUTELY NO "Zippered thigh vents" to "allow you to dump heat quickly". I searched everywhere and couldn't locate any. And it is the insulated returnia pant exactly.
Must be a mistake in the item description.
Cute pant anyway.

The size small fits me like a size 2-4. The pants were warm, had pockets and were waterproof. I get cold easily and they were great in windy conditions in 15 degree temperatures in Colorado.
