Ravine Shirt - Long-Seeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear made a quick-drying hiking shirt with seams placed so they don’t rub your back raw while you’re wearing a pack? We’ll take two of the Men’s Ravine Shirt please. Between the cleverly engineered construction and the mesh-lined sides and upper back, this shirt owns the trail. Toss in quick-drying fabric and suave good looks and the Ravine might just be the only threads you’ll ever need for tackling peaks or tossing back pints at the pub.

Bottom Line: Slick looks for slick rock.

Great Quality

I bought this shirt to replace a MH Canyon shirt that gave me 6 years of good service. So far it has been super comfy and the new venting system on it works well too. The fold up collar feature also helps with extreme sun and the zipped pockets keeps your documents safe while traveling. All in all money well spent.

Good shirt

Great quality shirt. Vented back and pits. Good quality material. One of my complaints is the height of the sleeve rolled up. I'm not a buff dude, but when the sleeves are rolled up, they sit right in the middle of my bicep. Minor inconvenience and you can kind of adjust it so that it is a little more comfy. Second thing is how tight the buttons are. It is tough to do one handed - like when you are rolling your sleeves up. Just 2 minor things. A great shirt, very comfortable.

pics. If you like them snug then a medium would be about right. Otherwise, I would get a large. I hope this info helps!

Really Nice Shirt, Good For Sun

By:

I really like this shirt, I bought it elsewhere on clearance for $50, as they had only medium and in grey. I really like it, the left chest map pocket is great, and I like the roll up sleeves and how you can stand up the collar for sun protection (there is a semi-stiff insert in the collar than helps it stand up, but is unnoticeable when worn normally). I like the ventilation, however my shirt does not have upper back mesh, only sides, which may be why it was on clearance if it's an older version. I really like this shirt though, wore it a lot on a 3800 mile roadtrip to the black hills, yellowstone, and the big horn mountains. Great for keeping the sun off your arms while driving and any other activities. Saved me from the one arm tan on the drive there hah. Also very lightweight and packable.

Looks great, wears great.

I've bought two MH shirts of similar design for my husband, who works outdoors. He loves them. They keep him cool, they look great; the map pocket is convenient for him (especially when he has a camera pack strapped onto his back and around his waist).

We wash his in cold and hang to dry, and his first has held up with wearing at least once a week for a year and still going strong. We'll see how this one (the Ravine) does, but it's similar, so I'm expecting similar performance.

He's 5'10", about 170 lbs., and the Large is a good fit.
