Not sure who these pants would fit?

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Size 6

I've always worn a size 6 in Mountain Hardware pants, however the cut on these is horrible. Huge gaps at the waist of 3in while the legs fit fine. Needless to say they are going back.

Great pants for the price

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

These pants fit me pretty well; I am 5'7" about 130 lb. just under 40" hips. There is a little gap in the waist but that is the case with most pants that fit me well everywhere else. The fit is low-to-mid rise. The legs fit my 22" thighs just fine, even on a relatively steep hike -- however, I can see where they would be too tight on someone with my build but larger thighs.

too big!

these pants would be great if you can find the right size. These were huge on me, i didn't even have to unbutton them to take them on and off. The waist, leg width, everything was too big. I am 5'5'', 110 pounds and got a size 2x32. I have a pair of mountain hardwear shorts that are also size 2 and fit perfectly, for these pants order a size down or maybe 2.

not a good fit

I'm not sure who these pants would fit. I normally wear a size 8 and the size 8 pants fit my hips, but they were about 4" too big in the waist. Then they were so tight on my thighs that I couldn't raise my knee to hip height. Maybe thin women with skinny legs can wear these pants? But are those the kind of women who usually hike?
