I wore these pants for 7 days in the Grand Canyon. They dried quickly and were so comfortable. The front pockets were not large, but It worked out fne. I am normally a size 10. I bought these in a 10 and they were a bit loose, but I like them loose. The chamois lining was so very nice! Would buy multiple pairs of these if I could!

I needed to return them & get a size smaller than my usual fit but I am very happy with these pants. the zip out short is longer than another pair of zip outs I have & I prefer the longer short. the waist is soft lined & the fabric is tough & supple, a good back country combination. Mtn hardware does a great job. lots of pockets for lip balm, hankies, stuff.

I found the fit on these pants to be strange. I had to have the waist pulled up much higher than I like to wear my pants in order to have the hips in the right spot. The hips of the pants are disproportionately large in comparison to the waist and thighs. They were not flattering at all. I will be returning them.

Great pants by MH. Love the lining on the inside. They are very durable and can take a beating. Very nice convertible action. Fit true to size and not lose like other products.

Very versatile pants. I'm 5' 7 3/4", 145lbs. I bought the size 8, 32" inseam in espresso. Perfect length (I'm long legged, short waist). They are lightweight but feel durable, almost like a very lightweight shell pant, with a little "stretch" to the fabric. The fit is slightly on the large side, but still very flattering. They do stretch out a tiny bit with use, so they will be "baggier" after a few hours of wearing. Perfect for town, hopping on a plane, or a backpack/hike. The gusseted seams mean no binding. I also appreciate the built in hook-clip for attaching things like keys. BC needs to update the product details though. There are two front pockets, one front side-pocket, another essentially useless tiny side-pocket, and no back pockets (thankfully they fit well that if you are carrying extra pounds in your butt...it doesn't show). The lack of back pockets is my only complaint. These will be my go-to pants for the trail.

FIT: My measurements: 5'7", 150lbs, waist 30", hip 39", inseam 32". I like the 8R, which has a 31.8" inseam and fit nicely.

FEATURES: Two shallow front pockets, 1 drop-in on thigh that fits a candybar (but not a phone), 1 zip pocket on thigh with a key clip, no back pockets. The zip pocket is the only safe place for a wallet and phone, unfortunately it's also the only mesh lined pocket that could have functioned as a vent. The lack of back pockets means an unflattering back view. The cuffs are outstanding, with very long zippers that allow you to unzip the pants into shorts and take the legs off over large hiking boots. The fabric is lightweight but feels durable. The inside is lined with some nice perforated wicking fabric. Yes, Titanium is wet cement colored... but goes with a lot of colors and hides dirt.

I wish the shorts were shorter, and they had back pockets, but overall great pants for travel and hiking.

These pants are a trim fit, have a nice rise, the fabric is light weight with a crisp "body" to it, and they look great in the photo. I returned them, though, because I'm a petite size 2, 108 lbs. with muscular thighs, and I felt like an elephant in them. Also, there weren't enough pockets for my needs., but the colors are pretty, and if I were svelte, I'd have kept them.

Felt like an elephant? I have bigger thighs. Does that mean they were too tight in the thighs or loose?

sounds really uncomfortable to hike with a zipper in between the legs! I often use lycra when on the trail for easy up & down compared to these traditional hiker pants [though, I love these for backpacking, more sturdy when sitting on rocks & off trail mapping to destinations ~ lycra would wear a hole]

I bought my Mountain Hardwear Ramesa Convertible pants for a 5 day canoe camping trip in the Boundary Waters. They were perfect: large enough in the leg to not bind while paddling, easy to convert to shorts when the sun came out, quick drying. Washed them when I got home and they look like new, even after miles of paddling and portaging.
