No matter the occasion, you'll be grateful to have the Mountain Hardwear Powzilla 30 Backpack strapped to your back. You can attach an ABS Vario Base Unit (sold separately) to the pack for those wonderful powder sessions in the backcountry. The Powzilla's HardWave suspension system includes a comfortable and well-padded back panel, hip belt, and shoulder straps that maintain an excellent fit and ventilation regardless of what's in the pack. Its large main compartment is easily accessible so you can get your lunch out on the chairlift or a handy shovel when you need to dig out your skis after a yard sale.
The Powzilla's continuous webbing snow gear system provides several ways to carry your skis, snowboard, or other riding toys. A convenient front pocket gives you an ideal place to pack your skins so they don't dampen the puffy jacket you have in the compartment. A generously large front pocket offers enough room for your avy gear. Once packed, you can cinch the Powzilla down tight with the compression wings so your gear doesn't bounce around while you cruise through moguls or switchback up the skin track.
