Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Zip Pullover Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's - 2008 BCS

This is such a perfect pullover! When I'm cold at home I put this on- I can run out the door to pick up the kids and stay warm outside but then don't get hot when I'm back hanging around the house. I was really surprised because I ordered the medium and was worried with my height (5'9") that it would be short in the sleeves and the waist but it was actually perfectly long! It breathes really well and is just an all around perfect layer. So comfy and warm!

I fell in love with the Mountain Hardwear brand last season with my first purchase of a down jacket that blew me away. So I decided to try this pullover,and once again I was not dissappointed. I just got back from a hiking vacation, and wore this in the car(convertible)on the way there, and nearly everyday as a top layer over a t-shirt. It is so soft that I never wanted to take it off. It breathes much bettter than a jacket, yet feels protective in a light rain.The fit is great, even for this tall,long armed female.I purchased the winter white in M, and just ordered the black when we got home from our trip. I originally bought this in a small for myself (5'8", 125 lbs.), but it ended up being a little too wide in the torso for me, so I gave it to my boyfriend (5'8", 140 lbs.) who it fits perfectly because he's broader in the shoulders. He wears it constantly, often without washing it and by some miracle it NEVER smells. He took it on a 10-day trip to Italy and it functioned as both a long-sleeve shirt and a jacket. It's lightweight, soft, and comfortable in a wide range of activities and temperatures. After 9 solid months of wear, it still looks great - no snags, pills, or holes. I only wish it had fit me! I bought this on SAC, but this is one of the few pieces of outdoor apparel that I would pay full price for.

I just recently ordered an XS for myself, and it fits! The sleeves and torso are long enough too - a welcome surprise. It's on the tight side and doesn't leave room for anything but a t-shirt underneath, but the fabric is so stretchy that it doesn't feel tight or restricting.

This shirt is soooo soft, very lightweight and very warm but breathes well. Perfect fit too. I would definitely recommend trying it.
