Mountain Hardwear Phantom Sleeping Bag: 32 Degree Down - Women's - 2006 BCS

Great bag, perfect fit for a women and keeps me VERY warm. Very lightweight and easily packable.

I took this sleeping bag on the West Highland Way in Scotland. I was plenty warm in the 40-degree nights. I got the regular size and I'm 5'6" so it was plenty big for me. The 1.5 lbs weight was perfect for my backpacking trip.

I recently purchased this bag for an outing to Big Bend NP in TX. I couldn't be happier. On certain nights in the Chisos temps went down to 30F or so, and I was perfectly comfortable in this bag. The construction is barebones and the regular size fits my 5'5" frame great. Women, invest in this bag, it's pack weight and size were just excellent for going fast and light. I highly recommend this product. Only tiny issue: zipper catches on occasion but this is nothing new, most bags do. Great purchase!

Usually I don't dare camp in temps approaching the claimed temperature. Well, going to bed with long-underwear on a pretty chilly night in Joshua Tree turned out to be a very comfortable experience. I had no idea how cold it got that night, until I awoke the next morning and our jugs of water were frozen. The bag isn't too tight either. It's not a queen size mattress but pretty nice. I'd buy this bag again. I haven't tried the more expensive bags in the same temp rating, but this is a light weight, compact, warm bag for relatively little money.

We've only used it once so far. My wife doesn't really like the enclosed foot area. We'll be looking for a comparable bag with a full length zipper.

Not the bag's fault, though. We knew the weather would be a little warm for that bag. Overall, it held up really well. We got it a little damp and it dried out pretty quickly.
