Versatile Summer Bag

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Purchased as a summer bag in the PNW, I have yet to be disappointed. I paired it with a thermal mummy liner on especially cold nights, but have never been anything but toasty in this bag. I am 5'5" and purchased a regular. It has enough room for us wider hipped ladies and has an adjustable hood. The black interior aided in easy drying after an extremely rainy night. And it's so lightweight! It's my first down bag and I am never going back to synthetic-- incredibly light, easy to compress & pack, and super warm. Highly recommended!

Warm and dry through a stormy trip

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I'm 5'2" 130 lbs and bought a regular - I love the way this bag fits, and I have just enough extra space lengthwise. It's hard to keep extra space warm in most sleeping bags, so I like that this fits my height well. The mummy shape also helps eliminate extra space. I think this bag fits pretty slim, but is flexible enough that I can scrunch up into the weird little ball-shape that I sleep in (I wish they made sleeping pads in a circle!)
This bag packs down into an impossibly small size - like a nalgene bottle. For its size, it's also incredibly warm! I was never cold on my trip, where we believe it got down to 35 F with 60-80mph gusts. Condensation was also never an issue.
I especially love how you can adjust the size of the hood. The zipper and fittings seem pretty sturdy. I'll update my review as I continue to 'put it through the wringer!'
