    No more soggy sleeping bags.

Pulling out a wet sleeping bag can pretty much ruin a camping trip, but that won't be a problem with the fully waterproof Ozonic 65 OutDry Backpack from Mountain Hardwear. It's OutDry 3L membrane seals your gear up tight against moist incursions, and the reversible top pocket has fully taped seams to add an extra dose of waterproofing where you need it most (flip it back around for easier access to the zipper).

Of course, a pack's only as good as its carrying system, but the Ozonic's HardWave suspension is fully customizable, so folks of most shapes and sizes can find a comfortable fit, and it has an interchangeable hip belt and shoulder straps so you can find the sweet spot no matter the size of your load. The back panel has venting channels, too, so you'll be able to avoid the worst cases of sweaty-back syndrome. Compressions straps tighten everything up to prevent bouncing and swaying, external loops secure your trekking poles and ice axe, and the front and side pockets keep water, snacks, and layers accessible so you don't need to plumb the depths when the clouds roll in and a rain jacket seems like a good call.

    Great Price, Great Pack

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pack rocks! It's super comfortable with it's adjustable suspension system and keeps all its contents dry as a bone with all the technologies that Mountain Hardwear put into the materials! As well running out of space is the least of your concern with this spacious pack! Definitely stoked on this one!

    Fits Great and Very Durable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this Pack. Used it on some hikes in the rockies. It has been very rainy this year and having a pack that is waterproof came in really handy. I put this through some good miles, about 25 so far and it's really comfortable and love all the access. This pack is super durable which is a complaint of mine that after a few uses many packs show the wear and start to break down, this one had taken a beating and still looks great and I have no tears and very little abrasion marks. Overall this pack is unique as it is waterproof and does not require a pack cover....

"Customizable HardWave suspension with venting channels"

Sounds like this pack will be plagued with back sweat issues. Any thoughts? What do they mean by customizable? How good will these venting channels work as opposed to packs by Osprey and Gregory that work to keep the pack from lying flat against your back? Thanks!

Would love to buy, but only up to 39 inch waist!?. Any hope for a 42" big guy?
