Mountain Hardwear Mynx Capote Fleece Jacket - Women's - 2008 BCS

At first I ordered this jacket in XS, and when I received it, I thought it was a kid size jacket...way too small. Then I ordered the Small, and it felt like a Medium. I had to return both. I really liked the jacket, the material, and feel, but too bad I couldn't use it due to sizing problems.

Bought this for my girlfriends birthday gift. She hasn't worn it so i don't have a females perspective, but all i can say is that when it arrived it looked so comfy i tried to put it on myself, no dice though. Jacket looks very nice....something you could wear to a dressier occasion. Seems like it will be extremely warm. One feature i especially like is at the cuffs. There is an insert that will wrap snugly around your wrist to keep the cold air out. The sleeves also expand via a zipper to allow for gloves to get underneath the cuff and keep you even warmer. Again i haven't actually warn it so i don't know how warm it is, but i wear my MH Windstopper Tech jacket that is half as thick all winter with no problems, so this jacket probably warms like an oven. Definitely worth the price.

Well, I love the jacket, but wish that there's one that fits. The XS is too tight, but the S feels 2 sizes bigger than the XS. The sleeves are too long and the shoulder and underarm areas are too loose, why can't they make a petite size?

I love this coat because it is so windproof. It keeps you very warm. The longer length (longer than a regular fleece jacket) helps especially if you are wearing dress pants or nice work clothes. The hood is also a great feature. I'm so glad I bought it!

I actually bought this last year in February, and let me tell you, it is awesome. MUCH BETTER than ANY Furry north face jacket. I just returned the scythe because the wind goes right through you. THIS Jacket is totally windproof. The arms have excellent fitting, and the pockets are in just the right place. I would buy this in the shorter version as well. Way to go Mountain Hardwear! You won't be disappointed with this one!

This soft sassy coat makes me look forward to the cool fall and winter days. The buttery soft cuffs are a really nice touch and the fabric itself is so soft I'll have a hard time not petting myself. I hope the fabric holds up and stays as pretty as it is now. It's definitely nice enough to wear to the office and I hope it will be technical enough to withstand the windy Colorado mountain air.

This is an awesome jacket/coat! It is super soft and tactile and promises to turn heads. Most important is how well made, super warm and functional it is. Great design, super sexy. After several years of unsuccessful searching for a pea coat that spoke to me, I was thrilled to find this jacket. It is unique, classy and replaced my need for a pea coat with a better choice. Kudos to the designers for originality. Love the generous arm length, and all the cool touches (zippers, cuffs, etc.) My only quip, is that I wish there was a size between M and L. The M looked smashing on, but restricted my reach a bit too much. The L, which I settled on, is almost too baggy but still looks fine. I suppose this is really a personal body type issue rather than a true criticism of the coat. Like anything, it has to fit right. Regardless, it will not stay in my closet or hanging on a hook when the weather is cold out-it will be on me!

I just got this coat and it is beyond excellent! Normally with fleece jackets i have to either wear something under or over it. Not with this jacket. I am a college student and I have to walk everywhere I go. This jacket keeps me very warm and looks great! I would highly recommend this jacket!

This jacket is by far one of the warmest ones I have and looks great too!!!
