Would you wear this skiing in wet...

Would you wear this skiing in wet conditions?

This jacket is not waterproof so no, I would not recommend skiing in it when the conditions are wet

Best Answer

Hey S Cohen,

I wouldn't recommend this jacket for skiing in wet conditions. The waterproof DryQ panel is only across the shoulders, top of the arms and hood. A better option for wet skiing would be a shell that's waterproof throughout all of the outside of the jacket.

Freel Peak in the Mixaction

Waiting for the winter months to truly put this jacket to the test, but it has been great in this chilly Tahoe fall weather. Love the colors, the fit, and the perfect added warmth on the summit of Freel Peak yesterday.

Loving this jacket!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

Although I don't ice climb, I've recently been doing a lot of climbing in this jacket with the chilly fall weather. I love the fit and having all the mobility in that I need with a little extra protection against the elements. It also has been surprisingly warm, but with effective layering, I haven't over heated. Key to have chest pockets and no pockets that become useless when wearing a harness. Totally into the sea level/geyser color way, but if you're like me and things get dirty you might want to stick with the graphite color way.
