Too bad they do not make the "original" windstopper vest for women anymore. That was a great technical vest. This vest is not quite the technical gear of the windblocker but it is a nice looking vest and does a very good job of blocking the wind to keep your core warm without all of the bulk of a down vest. The newer style has changed the fabric texture.

It's surprisingly hard to find a women's windstopper vest. My wife thinks it's a great vest, very warm, good fit, quite stylish! Another winner from Mountain Hardware!

It is a great fabric - warm and soft. Under a jacket, it keeps you toasty to sub-zero temps. Unfortunately, it is a full cut and I would prefer it to fit a bit more snuggly. But I'm happy I have it and I love Mountain Hardwear products.

This is a great addition to my closet! Love the soft, cozy lining to this fleece vest...keep in mind...this isn't just another fleece vest!! Wore it just the other morning on a cool morning hike and it was the perfect layer over a midweight capielene top. Can't wait to wear it on a cold alpine ski day!
