Cap your layering system off with the Microstretch Zip Top. Mountain Hardwear made this heavyweight insulating layer with Polartec Classic fabric, which provides a soft, warm, and breathable barrier between you and the cold. The top's Polartec Power Stretch side panels optimize flexibility and comfort.

Bottom Line: Warmth for the bitter cold.

Do you wear these under your clothes like you would thermals

Do you wear these under your clothes like you would thermals or armorals?

victor. Yes. You would wear this like you would a long underwear layer. The Microstretch is made with a thicker fleece than is used in most long underwear and so will be warmer... but, this could be a good thing! I hope this info helps.

Have not bought yet...I will wait for it to go below $60.00. I wish Backcountry and other merchants would let you put in a price alert so you will be notified when a product gets to the price would actual purchase.

what are the difference between this line and the microchill

what are the difference between this line and the microchill line (same 1/4 zip tee style) other than the "stretchy" panels? Fleece weight?

BReese. Fleece is the same 100wt. we use in the Microchill Line and the difference, as you mention, is in the TechnoStretch Panels on the sides. It's a great layer under a climbing shell where you might need a little more stretch! I hope this info helps!
