Mountain Hardwear Microgrid Fleece Jacket - Men's

Fit is a little tight for my liking, but overall this is typical Mountain Hardware quality. The Front chest pocket is very shallow as well.....used to much more room in that pocket. It is so small it's awkward to put your phone in.

The fit is perfect for layering under a hard shell and with the stretch panels it moves well for all activities. Great all season jacket for backpacking, alpine climbing, and skiing. The large could be a little longer (6'2" average torso) but other wise no complaints. Another solid piece of over build gear from mountain hardwear!

This jacket is custom fit for me. I wear a light long sleeve wicking baselayer with this when its 50 degrees or under and I'm good to go. Oozes quality. Definitely durable. Works very well under a hardshell and dries ultra quickly. I think it's a crucial piece of insulating gear when you're going to be covering long distances in the cold. It moves with your body and the drawcord at the waist, the fleecey hand and chest pockets, as well as fleecey chinguard all make this a very nice addition to your layering setup.

Great semi-light-weight fleece. Fits me perfect. slime build, long arms. I only use this and a wicking thin undershirt and I stay super warm, and if it rains, a lite rain jacket. The only thing I don't like with any of the MHW products is their flashy logo! I wish they would just tone down the colors on the logo. everyone knows there logo and quality by now. cool lugnut, but the flashy colors are a bit to posie in my opinion. Other than that, I will buy MHW because the quality and fit.

This is my favorite light fleece jacket! Light, warm, and and slim fitting; I'm 5'7 135 and the Small fits well with enough space to layer a light sweater. The microgrid fleece pattern reminds me of the Arcteryx Delta LT, which MH trumps easily with an extra chest pocket, drawcord hem, and Powerstretch Hardface sides and sleeves (and it's $10 cheaper retail to boot). The Powerstretch Hardface really is the dealmaker here as it gives this jacket an excellent fit and a feeling of luxury as only more expensive jackets tend to have this material (Arcteryx Atom, MH Desna). Only thing I think it missing would be a two way zipper since the jacket is fairly long, and it bunches up a lot when I'm sitting.
