The Mountain Hardwear Women's Micro Chill Zip Tee lets you continue your morning trail runs right up until the first snow. On those days when you can see your breath, pull on this lightweight fleece and feel cozy as you warm up and head for the hills. As you exert, the Micro Chill shirt wicks moisture and allows air to circulate. Flat-lock seams make it comfortable to wear with a hydration pack. For style and some extra venting, Mountain Hardwear gave this piece a 10-inch front zip.

This top is so warm and cozy that you don't want to take it off. It is very breathable and wicks moisture so well. I love it on a cold day under a shell jacket.

How do you measure sleeve length? I bought this for my wife who's an xs
and the sleeves were soooo long, they hung past her knees. Like she would
need an Ape index of +7.I measured 23 inches from her shoulder edge to wrist,
but the size chart list sleeves as 30 inches.
I had to return it.

I have 2 of these now.....super soft fleece, and fits closely (not tight). Really tall zip neck that reaches my chin- great for keeping cold drafts out. And, it's longer than most fleece tops/sweaters- I am 5'7" and the Small goes down to my hips. (Unusual for Mountain Hardwear- normally their shirts are too short for me!)
Is the inside of the top fleece and the outside smooth??

christine. This is a 100 weight fleece top. All of the fabric is fleece. You might be thinking of Polartec Powerstretch fabric? This is the fabric that is fleece on the inside and smoother on the outside? Mountain Hardwear makes many products out of powerstretch including jackets, zip tees, hoodies, and more. Hope this helps!

I have the white one and the blue one-- usually don't wear this sort of thing other than for skiing or flyfishing but these are so cute and fit so well that I have now worn them to work several times as well as just for running around-- I am very long waisted and these are just the right length-- I love them---

Medium sleeve length is 35", large is 36"(measured from center back). Also, center back length is 25" on the medium and 26" on the large.

I frequently wear this top over a thin base layer while running in 40 degree weather. It breathes well, keeps me feeling dry, regulates my temperature, and it moves freely with me as I'm pumping my arms running up hills. I'm sure it will be a great mid-layer once I start downhill skiing this season!
