The Mountain Hardwear Micro Power Stretch Full-Length Tight provides soft, wicking, and warm coverage for your legs, either under a shell on a wintery excursion or on its own on a chilly early-morning run. The advanced Polartec Micro Power Stretch fabric is lightly textured on the inside to trap warm air and wick moisture, and smooth on the outside for easy layering. In addition to the elastane in the fabric, you get plenty of mobility from a gusseted crotch; the flatlock seams are rotated away from abrasion areas for chafe-free performance.

Just what I was looking for

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this product to keep me warm on winter walks in our typical teens to twenties degree winter weather. I'm not an athlete but like to get exercise throughout the year by walking in town. I wear these pants under some wind pants and together they keep me warm and dry. They are a bit bulky - originally I was looking for something to slip under my jeans - but work good under a looser top layer. Not really something you can wear on it's own because they look a bit like long underwear. Good price and it came in an XL too. Amazingly warm! Plus ROCKS!!!

Great multi use tights. Used these as a base layer, as well as a stand alone layer for trail running on colder days. Nice and light, very soft on the inside. Agree with bju4311365 - there is some slight pilling after half a dozen wash and wears.

    Awesome sauce

light weight but warm and toasty on even the coldest and windiest of days. Keeps their shape well even after washing. Only drawback is slight pilling in the crotch.

I love these tights. I use them as is (without layering) and they're the perfect pant for cold winter days (inside) and moderately cold days (outside). My last pair is finally giving up after 4 years, so purchased two more. Love the fleece/soft inside. The real selling point for me, though, is the smooth outside. It doesn't pick up burs or other items while walking/hiking like regular fleece does. LOVE IT!
