Protect the floor of your Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 Tent—put the Lightpath 3 Footprint under it. Mountain Hardwear gave the Lightpath 3 Footprint grommet tabs that you can put your tent poles through to hold it in place. Sharp rocks, cactus spines, and twigs can't snag, catch, or rip your tent's floor bottom when your footprint is underneath it. Also, for a lightweight shelter option, you can leave your tent's main body at home and carry just the fly and footprint.
Bottom Line: For tent floor protection or as a floor for your lightweight shelter, get the Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 Footprint for your Lightpath 3 Tent.

I'll dispense with the usual corny introductory line and get straight down to business...this footprint is made for the associated Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 tent. Both the tent and footprint are excellent quality products. The footprint is very light and folds into a very manageable size (something like a 10" by 14" by 1/3" rectangle which can be further rolled/folded to fit your needs). It isn't particularly thick (it isn't a tarp) but it is durable and does a good job of protecting my tent. It can also be used with just the rain fly to create a light package for camping/hiking lighter etc. I would buy it again in order to keep my tent in good shape, dry, etc.
