For backpacking in damp, cool conditions, the light weight and warm-when-wet synthetic insulation of the Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35 Sleeping Bag can’t be beat. Mountain Hardwear used welded baffles to keep the Thermic Micro insulation in place, eliminating cold spots and lowering the overall weight. The roomy fit lets you roll around in your sleep, and a draft collar and face gasket help seal in the heat on chilly nights.
Bottom Line: Thermally efficient insulation for moist, mild conditions.

I am 5.5 and I use a regular. That gives me room inside.

Okay, here's the rule of thumb I used when selling MHW sleeping bags. If you are:
5' 6" and shorter - use a short.
5' 7" to 6' - use a regular.
taller than 6' - Use a long.
This method has yet to fail me, and I stick to it when I buy myself sleeping bags.

I ended up returning this bag because I needed something more suitable for true 3-season use; however, it is definitely a solid choice for late spring through early fall backpacking.
Pros:
--Lightweight, especially for a synthetic and for the price.
--Very compressible, includes a compression sack.
--Zippers are not overly prone to snagging.
--Regular size fits me (at 6') much better than typical regular size bags.
Cons:
--Unsuitable for temperatures below 40 degrees without heavyweight base layers.

The Lamina's are some rocking sleeping bags that are very accurately rated temperature wise. They are nice and comfortable and I personally will keep buying these bags.
After chatting with a BC rep it would seem that the said sizes
After chatting with a BC rep it would seem that the said sizes here are off, the short fits someone 5'6" and the regular is for a 6' person. They said it would be changed soon, but I figured id put this up until then
