Description

Wet winter weather? This is your bag.

Whether you're spending the night in a snow cave or heading out on a multi-day ski tour, trust the Mountain Hardwear Lamina -15 Degree Thermal Q Sleeping Bag to keep you warm and cozy. Lamina construction attaches the insulation directly to the shell fabric, which eliminates the cold spots caused by standard baffle stitching. Plus, the shell fabric's DWR finish and the Thermal.Q synthetic insulation make the bag an ideal choice for damp winter conditions.

  • -15°F temperature rating makes this bag ideal for winter camping excursions
  • Thermal.Q synthetic insulation is highly compressible, maintains its loft, and insulates better than down if it gets wet
  • Ripstop nylon shell has a DWR finish for reliable wind and water resistance
  • Winter mummy cut is slightly wider for greater comfort in winter conditions
  • Lamina construction attaches the shell directly to the insulation, eliminating cold spots caused by the stitching in typical baffle construction
  • Comfort Footbox accommodates the natural position of the foot for improved warmth and comfort
  • Polyester lining is soft and wicks away excess moisture
  • Face gasket and a snug-fitting hood keep cold drafts out and warmth in
  • Full-length zipper with double sliders offers ventilation options

Warm, almost too warm ;-)

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I took this on my first ever winter camping trip a week ago. It fit in the bottom of my old LLBean backpack in a large land and sea compression sack. I started the night in my full base layer and halfway through the night I stripped off my top layers and stuffed them in the bottom of the bag because I was sweating. The night had started off with light snow and turned clear, the Lowest temp was around +15F I am quite pleased with it.
