Lightweight and windproof with a climbing-specific design.
The Mountain Hardwear Men's Hueco Jacket is a versatile softshell built for days out climbing when windproof is a must, and water-resistance is a plus. Airshield fabric fends off the chills by cutting out the wind and remains durable for seasons of sending. Pack- and harness-compatible zippered chest pockets double as vents, so you can stash a few tools and ditch heat quickly. Meanwhile, an internal button hem lets you get a streamlined fit that won't get in the way of your harness.

- Q & A
This is a great jacket for many uses
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: XL
I purchased this jacket so I could have a soft shell for those days I didn't need/want a hard shell snowboarding. I have worn this skinning and riding, and love it for those uses. However, I have also used it as a daily jacket and took it on a 3 week trip into a sometimes very rainy northern Europe. I stood out in the rain for quite a while on one particular day as our local guide in Oslo talked for way too long, and didn't even get a hint of wet. On my trip it was comfy for a wide range of temperatures, and so was a great jacket for packing light.
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: medium
Just received my jacket so I haven't has a chance to wear. I will tell you that is fits great and very comfortable. The sleeves are a little long.
Does Internal button hem for a customized, streamlined fit mean that it has a cinched drawstring hem (with a button operated locking mechanism?)
From what I can tell, yes that is exactly what that means! Super fancy way of saying that, but those words came directly from the manufacturer.
