Great layering piece
This jacket is awesome! I wear it over a wool base layer and under a waterproof shell for back country skiing trips. It dries really fast so its ready the next morning again. The fabric is not super windproof or water resistant but its so light weight that its definitely worth packing for winter adventures, just in case. I have the black version so I can't comment on the colors. Stylish enough for a quick trip to town or stopping by that favorite pizza place on the drive home from the mountains.
how does this compare to the older version?...
how does this compare to the older version? Specifically how does the primaloft eco compare to the thermic micro? How does the new 20D nylon ripstop compare to the old convert 15D ripstop? What does the D stand for?
