The Mountain Hardwear Hammerhead 3 tent footprint protects your Hammerhead 3 tent's floor [MHW0053] from damage caused by rough or wet ground surfaces. The footprint, made of durable coated nylon, is cut exactly one inch smaller than the surface of your tent's floor, preventing water from collecting between the floor and the footprint—prolonging the life of your tent. The footprint attaches to existing tent poles, and can be set up with the tent's fly, without the tent body for a ridiculously lightweight shelter.

I love it. Perfect! Taped seams...one of life’s small pleasures. Too bad the county laws didn't permit 2 tents on one site. Authorities shut me down.

My only complaint is that the footprint, rainfly and tent all use the tips of the poles to secure them together. Kinda a tight fit with 3 layers of grommets on the pole tips!
