Description

Like it's a part of you.

When you're moving quickly, you can't afford to have your pack bouncing around on your back. It's annoying at best; dangerous at worst. The Mountain Hardwear Fluid 26 Backpack features an on-the-fly compression system that allows you to secure your load without removing the pack for a perfect fit.

Tough, yet lightweight ripstop nylon fabric resists tears from snagged branches and jagged rocks. The hydration sleeve allows you to route the tube from over either shoulder or from the bottom of the pack depending on your preference. Close-fitting suspension allows you to move without feeling your pack swinging around, and a stowable waist belt allows for additional support and security. Venting channels promote airflow to keep your back cool and dry. The Fluid 18 also has ample pockets to keep your smaller necessities organized, including integrated pockets on the shoulder straps, a stash pocket for easy access to snacks, and a fleece-lined sunglasses pocket to protect your shades from getting scratched.

Mountain Hardware does it again

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I read a few reviews on this day pack that said it was flimsy, that it was cheap, etc. I decided to order it anyways, mostly because the people who wrote the reviews were using it for a book bag and other random uses that it wasn't intended for. As a day pack, this bag is awesome. It's light, I can shove a ton of stuff in it and it's held up to all the abuse I have thrown at it in the mountains, desert and tropical islands. If you are debating whether or not to buy this bag, I say do it.
