Mountain Hardwear’s athlete team put their heads together to create a tent for serious alpine climbing and mountaineering objectives—the EV Direct 2 Tent. This minimalist tent weighs well under five pounds and protects you from the weather with waterproof breathable Conduit FR fabric. Unlike most single-wall tents, this Mountain Hardwear design uses pole clips to allow easy pitching without opening a door. Plus the small floor space saves you tons of time when you need to chop a tent platform into the side of an icy mountain.

Bottom Line: For today’s modern alpine routes.

This would be a great tent if you are looking for a minimalist 4 season tent that can handle high winds, a snow load, and heavy rain. If you use this tent in very humid conditions it is possible that you may encounter some condensation (as is with any single wall tent...) The drier the conditions the better. Ventilation is key in combating condensation as well and this tent has great ventilation. Hope this info helps!

This is a surprising tent ! Its simplicity makes it perfect.
Extremely easy to set up ( 2 poles !) Beautiful construction. Ive tryed it in Patagonia, cold nights - 10 celc, with some serious winds ( over 100 km/h ).
Solid structure, no condensation inside, good temp protection, less than 2kgs makes it a dream to carry

Great buy if you need a light bomb shelter.

Correct, no vestibule. A vestibule requires a double-wall setup, which adds a lot of weight, so in order to "simplify and add lightness," to quote Lotus' mantra, you don't get one.
