*Actually* windproof!!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I've punked out of winter biking the past couple of seasons because I couldn't find gloves to keep my paws warm below 20F. I tried these out at ~30F with 15 mph winds and was super-psyched to find that they really do keep the wind out! My hands didn't get cold, even without liners.

I wish I had ordered a size up, though...the fabric doesn't give/stretch, so I can't reach my fingers for the brakes without moving my whole arm. Also, I think it'll be a tight fit once I put liners inside for cooler temps. Overall, pretty slick!

I tried on the men's small (i'm a women, medium frame on wrist bones) and the elastic at the wrist was exceedingly tight... as in... 15 min until carpal tunnel symptoms tight... are the women's elastic band around the wrist similarly tight? The men's medium was better but then too huge in the fingers. thanks!
