One of a kind

I've had this jacket for a few months now and used it for winter/cool weather running as its primary use and it's double thumbs up for performance and fit. I'm 6'4", 205 and the XL fit great with a bit of room underneath without being baggy. The front face fabric keeps out any wind while the back breaths extremely well. I used to run with light gloves, but more often than not I remove them now thanks to the half-glove cuffs as well as the uber long sleeves (I wear a 36-37" dress shirt sleeve) fit even my long arms. Thumb holes actually work and are comfortable. The only thing I'd change would be to take the zipper all the way to the bottom of the jacket, as they've left it about 1/2" up from the bottom. Pretty minor really. This jacket also is great for X-country skiing and I've used it for spring ski touring on sunny days when a softshell is too much but a single shirt isn't enough.

Great for Running

This jacket is great for running in cold and mixed, drizzly weather. I've only used the jacket once so far but it breathes better than the old windstopper version. The sleeves are long which I like. The material has a bit of stretch in it as well. I wear a medium and am 5'9", 155 pounds and there is no room underneath except for maybe a t-shirt if you wanted to wear one.

Question about the material. Here on bc.com the material is

Question about the material. Here on bc.com the material is listed as DryQ Active, but on the MH website it is listed as "AirShield Active," not the DryQ Active; however, DryQ Active IS listed as a technology for this piece on the MH site. My question is this: what material is used in this jacket (as least the front facing material)? And if it is AirShield Active, how does that material compare with the DryQ Active?

Thank you for the help!!
