Mountain Hardwear Downtown Vest - Men's - 2007 BCS

Everything from looks to function makes this vest tops on my list. I was originally going to buy the TNF Nuptse down vest, but I'm glad I went for this one instead. It fits great without the excessive "puffy" look of it's competitors. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is a great looking vest that packs great warmth. I love it so much I even wear it to work. Fits nicely under my shell to keep me warm while out in the winter elements. The cut of this vest is really nice, its a more fitted cut so it looks stylish, but also keeps it close to your body for warmth. The fleece lined pockets are my favorite, makes you want to warm your hands in there all the time.

While down vests are certainly nothing new to the winter scene, the Downtown vest is something of an original amidst all the other look-alikes. Shaped with angled stitching, this vest contours in towards the waist, avoiding the fat, puffy look caused by other vests. It's very stylish and warm. And, most importantly, it's a great value for the money.

This vest fits very well and definitely keeps the torso warm. Plus, with the rust/orange color, I hope not to get shot in the woods.

Not only does this bad boy keep me toasty warm, chicks dig it too. I’d have to say this is my favorite vest, and I’ve owned a few. The contoured shoulders and arm holes make it a functional piece that keeps you warm in even the coldest conditions and the styling is slick enough that you can hit the bars wearing it and not look like you're through hiking. Comfy fleece-lined pockets and chin guard are nice additions as well. Cheers
