Have to agree with Mary.... The elastic around the armholes and the stiching design on the vest give it a weird look.
I'm 5'7" and ordered a small and it was too large in the torso. I prefer a slim fitted vest over a boxy look. Had to send this one back.

I wore my down vest for the first time yesterday, and found it to be great. It fits true to form, although I could have probably gone down a size just to get a tighter fit (and hence warmer ) around the torso. I love the color and styling of it, however, given I got the white color, I would be hesitant to go travelling or camping in it. The fur inside is a plus, making it enjoyable to pull on and increasing the warmth. It has a toggle/drawcord on either side of the bottom to stop any drafts from getting up and under.

This vest has very weird elastic around the arm holes. It feels very strange to have the arm opening snug in your arm pits. Everyone who tried it on agreed that it is weird and uncomfortable and that they've never seen a vest with this feature. We returned it -- a first = never returned a Mountain Hardware item before.
