The faster you go, the colder it is.
A fully featured, insulated winter parka with a quilted exterior pattern, the Mountain Hardwear Women's Downhill Parka handles bitter, winter weather with aplomb and heats up the coldest days on-hill. Crafted from a tough-as-nails Optimo Ripstop AXF fabric, the Downhill Down Parka is equipped with fiery-warm 700-fill Q.Shield Down to resist heat-robbing moisture and retain maximum loft even when conditions are extra wet.
The removable powder skirt lets you wear it around town when not getting pitted in the great white wave, and the adjustable hood, hem, and cuffs bulk up your protection when the weather takes a nasty turn. A built-in Recco reflector aids with in-bounds rescues, while the tricot fleece chin guard prevents rough chafing found on those especially cold days. Multiple pockets fit your phone, gloves, goggles, and any other necessities you may want to bring along.

What is the water proof rating on this jacket?
Hey Victoria, this jacket is going to be water resistant, but I wouldn't call it waterproof. It should be great for chillier weather though! If you have any other questions on it or would like any help placing an order give a shout at 801.204.4547 or firstname.lastname@example.org and I'd be happy to help! Cheers, Connor
Does this coat have a double zipper down the front?
Susan, this coat does not have a two-way zipper.
