Solid Top

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Up until ordering this I had used similar shirts of different brands. I didn't expect it to be any different, yet was amazed during my first run in 84* weather.

It has a higher quality feel to it, vents just as well, and wicks moisture a bit better than anything else I've had. I highly recommend this shirt.

It does seem to run a bit small, for me personally it fits well enough though.

Runs small

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Like most Mountain Hardwear clothing, this item runs small. I usually wear a Medium in fitted shirts and a large in t-shirts. I'm 5'7" and 170 lbs with just a little too much stored energy around the middle. I ordered the medium and while I could wear it, it didn't feel at all flattering or comfortable. I probably just need to stop enjoying so many micro-brews so take my review at face value. I'll probably be trying a large as I really want a lightweight long sleeved shirt that won't overheat me during the summer, and this really seemed to fit the bill.

very comfortable shirt. Runs a tad small, I wear XL tshirts but I have XXL in this item because of sleeve length, which is normal for me. Very lightweight and I can't wait to really test it's breath-ability out.

Shirt is a must for outdoor adventurers.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This is my 3rd shirt from this top-notch company whose product you will not find or I haven't seen in even the top-end sporting stores in my area. Its functionality, specifications and looks works for all functions and is a must for someone who travels alot and needs to maximize their packing essentials. Great product-hands down!!

Perfect for When the T. Creeps Over 80..

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This is an awesome shirt for any exercise activities that will be undertaken in warm(er) temperature conditions. The fabric is the first I've worn of which I'd say, "it breathes." It feels as spare as wearing a t-shirt, but is more breathable than either Columbia's omni-wick Summer fabric or UnderArmour's Heat gear. It dries amazingly fast after a sweat. I often wear it tooling around SLC in the Summer. I am planning to buy like 5 more because it is the perfect fabric for Summer activities.

great material, not a long enough torso

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I got this because I wanted a light weight long sleeve base for moderate temp days where I'd rather have a long sleeve and be a little warm on trail than have a short sleeve and be hurting if the temp dropped unexpectedly. The material is great in that its super light, wicks really well and slides under other layers very easily. All of these attributes I was expecting after having several of the short sleeve Wicked Lite shirts over the past few years. Unfortunately the torso length on the short sleeve is a little shorter than I was expecting. I'm 6'3" and about 220, I'll usually go with a large or XL depending on the fit. I got the XL which fit pretty well (close but not snug) since these do run a little on the slim side and the waist of the shirt came right to my belt line which means that its fine for hiking with but I can't tuck it in for skiing and if I try climbing with it I'm going to be blinding my belayer and any others in the area with my (not so) glorious pale complexion.

Great shirt for hiking

I am extremely fair-skinned and sunburn very easily so I needed something with long sleeves, yet light enough to wear in hot temperatures and not be uncomfortable. This shirt fills the bill nicely. Light, breathable and dries quickly, which is good because I suffer from SBS (Sweaty Back Syndrome.) Took my pack off and the shirt was bone-dry in 10 minutes.

Great for skydiving

Bought the Double wicked longsleeve in hot pepper, and found it to be extrememly comfy. Its bright and makes me feel safer commuting to work on bicycle. One thing to note the sleeve cuffs are tight so you cant roll up the sleeves, so consider it a dedicated long sleeve. Loved it so much i went skydiving in it, and went ahead and bought another in titanium color.
