Description

Shorter than pants, but longer than underwear.

The only thing the Mountain Hardwear Cordoba Short is short on is … well, cloth. Other than that, this double-canvas short features a full-length inseam gusset for complete mobility while you stretch things out at the crag.

Every day wear

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are my favorite shorts for yard work. Super roomy for all the bending and twisting, and as durable as a pair of Carhartt double knee dungarees. I don't really like the flaps on the rear pockets but they don't get in the way either. Good pair of shorts to wear while getting things done.

Sizing is perfect!

These shorts are great! For size 34 the waist is perfect, and they're roomy in the butt and thighs. I bought three pairs.

Size runs small, fairly thick shorts

I ended up returning these solely based on the waist size being wrong. I bought a pair of Marmot shorts of the same size (my waist) and they fit well. The Marmots were light but tuff. Good for rock climbing and hiking. This pair of Mountain Hardware (my favorite brand usually) were thick. If they did fit I was afraid they might be on the hot side, even though they'd be pretty rugged. But for rugged conditions I'd prefer 3/4 pants or longer.
