Delivering the look of jeans with rugged fabric and a movement-friendly design.

Comfort is built directly into the DNA of the Mountain Hardwear Men's Cordoba Gene Pant. The all-cotton canvas will only get softer and more pliant with each washing. But, don't let the comfort fool you—this is hardcore scuff-resistant canvas that can stand up to rough brush ups with rock faces and branches.

A small inseam gusset increases your range of motion so you won't have to turn down a chance for after-work crag climbing just because you didn't bring your climbing clothes, and you won't feel restricted even on hikes that require occasional scrambles.

  • All-cotton canvas
  • Gusseted inseam
  • 5-pocket styling

So far, so good

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

Just got two pairs of these (cordovan and maple). They fit great and feel great. The cordovan color is a lot darker in person (not black or anything, but not as light a brown as in the photo), but that's not a big deal. Overall, definitely happy with these.

Good Pants, Bad Luck

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

I recieved the pants fairly quickly. I took them for a short three hour day hike. When putting my hand in my pocket the seam ripped. I do not want to send them back to backcountry because I cannot go without having pants. I felt frustrated and disapointed, i believe the quality of these pants are far from good, but maybe I was simply unlucky...

Lengths vary

I bought four of these pants 32x32 the Shark and Maple pants were at least 1/2 inch shorter than the Khaki and Cordovan.

I ran into this exact same issue on 2 separate occasions when ordering Columbia pants & with Mountain Hardwear being owned by Columbia, I can't say I'm surprised unfortunately.
