Mountain Hardwear Cordillera Short - Women's - 2007 BCS

I had this short from another store. Its the only short I hike in. Its lightweight, comfortable and the waist wicks away sweat. Its also a nice length - not too long or too short. I have a small waist and a bit bigger hips and I found the fit true to size.

I was greatly disappointed with these shorts.. they cut is odd and the material gathered at the edges of the pockets. I ended up sending them back.

I live in remote Laramie WY, so most of my outdoor shopping is done online. I have to base my online shopping decisions based on descriptions, and knowledge of customer service offered by that company. These shorts are HUGE, much larger than standard size, and there was no warning of that in the description. Then when I wanted to exchange them for a better fit, Customer "Service" refused to pick up the shipping charges. Well, to heck with that noise. It's because of that I will not buy with this company ever again. I will go to REI or Cabella's, where the descriptions are accurate and customer service really is that - service. So, this site saved a couple of bucks on shipping, but in the exchange permanently lost an avid hiking customer. Weird management policy.
