With a touch of elastane in its warm soft fibers, the Mountain Hardwear Continuum Midweight Tight insulates while drawing moisture away so things don’t get too, um, tropical in there. Fluffy knit poly is thicker in areas that tend to get colder, and it thins out to a lightweight mesh in spots that perspire more. Mountain Hardwear even added a Chitosan anti-microbial agent to the Continuum Tight’s fibers to keep you—literally—mountain fresh.
Bottom Line: Super smart layering for the smart lady.

first of all, you should know this has a giant FLOWER on the butt. i got a kick out of it, but if that's not your thing, then you might want to just use them for layering. the mesh keeps me warm but is pretty sheer, so everyone will know what you're wearing underneath. i mostly use them for rowing on chilly mornings and they work great, the waist is high so they don't slide down and i don't moon the rowers sitting behind me, haha. they are pretty long too; i tend to hook spandex pants over my heels so they worked out great.
