The Mountain Hardwear Men’s Continuum Midweight Tight uses Micro Climate Zoning to give you added warmth in key areas, so you stay perfectly comfortable whether you’re out hiking the trail or cutting turns on the slopes. The Continuum’s seamless nylon construction breathes moisture while it insulates and has a touch of elastane for stretchy performance. Mountain Hardwear also added a Chitosan anti-microbial agent to this bottom to ward off funky bacteria during extended use.

Bottom Line: Continuous comfort for multi-day trips and changing conditions.

If you are thinking about a new base layer...think about something else. Extremely tight through the thighs and the extended crotch area restricts movement and makes you feel like you are going to rip them.

Too tight tight

My husband felt like he must have been wearing pantyhose. Tight tore with easy stretches the first time it was put on. He's always been a men's M at 5'8" and 153 lb. This is sized WAY too small. We both own other MH, and it's always been great. Good service - paid UPS return slip sent with no hassle .

Skinny Pant

I'm a huge promoter of Mountain Hardware, but this baselayer I am not a fan of, personally. I understand where they were going with the seamless construction, but the fit is just not there. Super tight through the thighs with an extended crotch space, which in-turn immobilzes ones movement. They would do better to create a 'pouch' for men. Felt like I was wearing a skirt with leggings, or something. Needless to say, I am returning this item for an Under Armour baselayer pant, hope that works instead. I can say, I own North Face's Charcoal Bamboo XTC baselayer pant, and they are SWEET!....
